Sciences

Welcome! In here, you will find some posts I wrote on physics and science topics, including my own work, learning tips, useful links to resources, some interesting research news, etc.

I am currently a research scientist at Euclid Techlabs, LLC: 365 Remington Blvd, Bolingbrook, IL, 60440. I’m the Principal Investigator (PI) of two Department of Energy (DoE) funded SBIR projects as of July 2019. My research interest includes particle accelerator and beam physics, beam instrumentations, novel concepts, simulations and computational physics, data science and algorithms for science.

Although I have general interest in physics and science, accelerator physics was my Ph.D. major. I graduated with honor from Prof. SY Lee’s (Prof. Lee’s website) group at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB). Prof. Lee is one of the most knowledgable accelerator physicists. I got my Ph.D. degree from a Joint Ph.D. program between IUB and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), where I did the design and simulations of a very innovative idea: nuSTORM (neutrinos from STORed Muons). My supervisors at Fermilab were Dr. Alan Bross and Dr. David Neuffer.

Now I work with a small business company funded primarily by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) to do accelerator-related research. I am interested in many accelerator topics, especially development of novel algorithms/methods for accelerator physics. I am also interested in commercializing accelerator-related products. Feel free to contact me to discuss with me: My email

Enjoy!
